About Dr. Mehaidat A career built at the intersection of mind, pain, and recovery.
"Psychological and physical pain, and life's difficulties, are not merely events in a person's life. They are a story the mind tells — and with the right guidance, that story can change and improve." — Dr. Mohammad Mehaidat

Dr. Mohammad Mehaidat is a Consultant Clinical Psychologist with more than three decades of experience in psychological disorders, psychological rehabilitation, chronic illness, mental health, and family counseling. Trained in Egypt, he returned to Jordan where he began a clinical career marked by a commitment to understanding the psychological dimensions of physical and emotional suffering.

Early in his career, Dr. Mehaidat joined the Psychiatry and Rehabilitation Department at King Hussein Medical City — one of Jordan's foremost medical institutions — where he developed his clinical practice over twenty years within a multidisciplinary care environment. He later brought that expertise to humanitarian medicine through his work with Médecins Sans Frontières, the French Project in Jordan.

Drawn to the specialized intersection of physical rehabilitation and psychological recovery, Dr. Mehaidat spent years at the Sultan Bin Abdul Aziz Humanitarian City in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia — an internationally recognized rehabilitation center — where he worked with patients navigating long-term recovery from injury and chronic illness.

Today, Dr. Mehaidat continues his work in Jordan, writing and publishing in both Arabic and English on clinical psychology, chronic pain, psychological wellbeing, family and marital counseling, and the integration of faith in healing.
